Family & Personal Life
I was born and raised in a small village near Munich, Germany, where I grew up on a farm.
I am Mom to Tim. Spouse to Martin. Daughter to Maria and Ludwig. Sister to Manu. Friend to many.
I´ve always had a love for exploration and it has taken me to beautiful, astonishing places across all continents, where I met wonderful, inspiring people.
We decided to live an international life as a family of three, that has for now taken us from Munich, Germany to Shanghai, China to Prague, Czech Republic, where we currently reside.
Moving to China during the worldwide pandemic in 2020 and staying put for 3 years has been among the most formative years in my life and taught me a thing or two about listening, learning, and adapting. It was during that time when my long-lasting love for Yoga turned into a calling for more.
Sports Life
Throughout the years, I tried many different types of sports, most of which stayed with me until this moment:
Professional Life
I was working in the fields of marketing and event management at the automotive industry for more than 20 years. As much as I loved the corporate environment, I rather save the boring part and better tell you why I became a Yoga teacher.
WHY “The Yoga Nomad”
To me, Yoga is a lifestyle. It´s urban. And it´s nature. It centers me and has been my big passion for over a decade now.
It provides moments of stillness yet requires movement, strength, focus and effort. Yoga is so much more than sports or movement, but sometimes only this is exactly what I need.
The beauty of Yoga is that it is always for yourself. What YOU need and want. At your own pace.
Yoga could offer a different perspective.
I do love to go upside down. Am I perfect in all postures? Not at all but being brave enough to fail at something new is an essential part of making progress.
During my time in China, I was lucky enough to meet wonderful people and learn from awe-inspiring teachers and mentors. Lesson by lesson, day by day, my practice grew more profound – evolving into a true commitment and a desire to do more.
I took the plunge to become a teacher and pass on my passion to others. My philosophy is: “Yoga can be anything you want it to be”. And my aim is to help people discover the endless possibilities it holds. “Why” one does Yoga is a hugely important question with a wide array of individual answers. As an out come of when I asked myself that question, I created my “Pink Yoga Circle” inspired by Simon Sinek.
Simon Sinek defined a Golden Circle Theory. A theory that explains how leaders can inspire collaboration, trust, psychological safety and effective change.
Every Success Story starts with realizing what you believe in. Your engine. Your purpose. Your WHY.
HOW do I want to share my experiences with you, and WHAT can I offer
What would you say? Are there conventions or basic principles how a Yogi should act and behave in the 21st century?
Here is how I am describing my style:
Based on a Vinyasa TT and influenced by Ashtanga Yoga, I teach dynamic vinyasa with a focus on strength, variety, and dynamism, while emphasizing alignment – all with the ambition to cultivate confidence, strength, and curiosity.
We create Yoga Moments that matter and that stay. Together.
Based on your individual needs. At your own pace.
