Family & Personal Life
I was born and raised on a farm in a small village near Munich, Germany. Today, I’m a proud mom to Tim, married to Martin, daughter, sister, and friend—and someone who finds deep joy in connecting with others.
My love for exploration has taken me across continents and cultures, shaping how I see the world. As a family of three, we chose an international life, moving from Munich to Shanghai, and now to Prague, where we currently live.
Relocating to China during the pandemic in 2020 and spending three years there was one of the most defining experiences of my life. It taught me how to slow down, listen deeply, and adapt with presence. During that time, my lifelong love for yoga became something more—a true calling.
Sports Life
Over the years, I’ve explored many different sports—some just for fun, others more seriously—and most of them have stayed with me in one form or another.
In my twenties, I competed in triathlons, spending countless hours cycling, swimming, and running.
In my thirties, I learned to ski—and it quickly became one of my greatest passions.
Now in my forties, I’ve taken up tennis. It’s incredibly technical, and plenty still goes wrong, but I’m embracing the challe nge and learning step by step. Thankfully, my coach is very patient!
Professional Life
For over 20 years, I worked in marketing and event management within the automotive industry. While I enjoyed many aspects of the corporate world, I’ll spare you the boringrésumé details—and instead tell you what truly matters:
Why I became a yoga teacher.
WHY “The Yoga Nomad”
To me, yoga is a lifestyle—sometimes urban, sometimes rooted in nature. It grounds me, challenges me, and has been a source of passion and clarity for over a decade. Yoga creates space for stillness, but also demands strength, focus, and effort. It’s more than movement—but sometimes, movement is exactly what we need. The beauty is:
yoga meets you where you are. It’s your journey, your pace, your choice.
I love being upside down. Am I perfect in every pose? Definitely not. But being willing to try (and fail) is where growth beg ins.
While living in China, I had the chance to learn from incredible teachers and mentors. Day by day, my practice deepened into something more: a true commitment. That’s when I knew I wanted to share this path with others.
I believe yoga can be anything you need it to be—and the reasons we show up on the mat are as unique as we are.
This belief inspired me to create the Pink Yoga Circle, guided by Simon Sinek’s Golden Circle theory:
Every meaningful journey starts with understanding your why—your purpose, your engine, your reason for being.
“The Yoga Nomad” is my why. I’d love to help you discover yours.
How I Teach & What I Offer
What does it mean to be a modern yogi today? There may not be one answer—but here’s how I share my practice:
My teaching is rooted in Vinyasa, influenced by Ashtanga, and shaped by a love for dynamic, varied, and strength-focused movement. I emphasize alignment, while encouraging confidence, curiosity, and personal growth.
We create meaningful yoga moments—together.
Tailored to your needs. At your pace.
